It's hard to say when Grandview Labradors was actually started. My wife and I both wanted a white Labrador after seeing a Lab puppy on the Purina Puppy Chow commercial. Our first white Labrador was actually given to us by a church member in May of 2008. We named her Ellie and fell in love with her immediately.
For several years, my wife insisted that we start breeding Labradors even though we had already had Ellie spayed. Then in 2012 we purchased our second white Labrador Retriever, Sadie Mae.
Sadie Mae had our first litter in 2014 and since then we have added several Labradors Retrievers to our family including silver and charcoal labs. We decided to name our business Grandview due to the beautiful view we have from our front porch. Our home overlooks the beautiful rolling hills of South Central Kentucky.
My wife and I are both in public education, I'm the Director of Special Education and Preschool Coordinator for our school district and she is a school counselor. We also live on a large beef farm where our Labradors have plenty of room to run and play. Each morning as I go out and check on our beef cows, I am accompanied by at least two of our dogs. We also love to get our labs out with our two boys and take to the pond go a a horse ride.
My wife and I are both very proud to be dedicated followers of Jesus Christ and He is the foundation of everything we do. We love Jesus first, family second, and then probably a close third would be our animals. Not only do we have our Labradors, we also have an inside dog, Maggie. We have a three Jennies (female donkey), one jack (male donkey) and around 80 head of beef cows. If you haven't figured it out yet, we are animal lovers!
